  • Heem, sorry to say, Rachel, but we also call the toes "foot fingers" in my language. So, I'm with Jun on that one. It does make sense, they are little fingers on your foot so they are foot fingers.

  • I had the same thing in my left foot! But I didn't want surgery because they told me I wouldn't be able to walk for 2 weeks! So I took it out slowly by using a cream everyday. It was sooo painful and took over a month to heal. Surgery must have been painful too specially if you had it for so many years! This shit grows up fast and spreads its roots all over the sole of the foot. Glad you got rid of it!

  • Believe it or not Jun is technically right about toes being foot fingers due to the fact that the bones in the fingers and toes are the same. The phalanges bones are for both hands and feet so yes toes are technically ‘feet fingers’ ^^

  • Oh my god, you don't even want to see the food they give you on German hospitals. It's all white bread with butter, cheese and sausage/ham, like nothing remotely healthy that is going to help you heal. The Japanese version might be badly done but at least there are some vegetables in it.

  • Awww, Jun had Toelio! But he's not doing it right, not enough drama. My sister once dropped a can on her smallest toe. It hurt bad but it's a little toe and Doctors are expensive. Common sense indicated the doctor would just tape it. Who ever heard of a cast on a pinky toe, right? So she took some motrin, taped it and went to bed. Woke up to massive pain. The toe had swollen and the tape had stopped the return circulation so the skin split. I was called to watch the children in the middle of the night while her husband took her to the emergency room. It became a favorite family story about how only my sister could turn a little broken toe into a major polio level event. There were stitches and drains and antibiotic resistant infections and even a wheelchair involved. The toe survived and all was well in the end. Well, except for the nail. To this day that toe has no nail. Poor little toe.

  • Technically, Jun is not wrong. The bones in both your fingers and toes are called “phalanges”. And given the language translation, I can see the confusion. 😂
