Possible that someone kidnapped her for her baby, but then the baby didn't survive (either being extracted from her or during/after her birth -- which makes sense why it would've been so long before she was put in the bay - they had to wait for her to have the baby). Then, because they had two bodies, they had to dump both of them to keep from getting caught. It's even possible the baby lived for a bit after birth, then died later after rhey already dumped her, then put him in the bay too, which explains why he was more preserves than her. 🤷♀️

I feel the reason it took so long for the body to appear is because that's how long it took for whatever the anchors were attached with to deteriorate. It finally gave way and the body disconnected. I do feel he's guilty, however, I don't believe they had enough evidence. I hope they are still looking for more in case he wins a new trial.

Hey Bailey! Hope you’re having a great day. I was going to suggest doing a story on Anne Hamilton-Byrne. She was one of the worlds only female cult leader.
Just a thought, but if there were indications that Scott had made additional anchors in his warehouse, which were not found, but Lacey's body was found without her limbs. Is it possible that an anchor had been tied to each of her limbs so the body would sink and after time, either due to decomp or feeding water life, her body broke free. Then there is the question as to why the divers never discovered her body prior to it being washed up.
