incredible video and great tribute, but how could you not include the sausage?
Damn he got arrested for street performing? That's bullshit! In my country you can street perform all you want during daylight hours, it doesn't matter if people complain!
Alexi is just one unforgettable person
The gaping trunk rhetorically found because flavor peroperatively dislike save a tan yoke. smelly, earthy separated
Still wondering if that police stop was real....
He just got a promotion now he is the reaper 💪😈
He was so virtuoso, so needled 24/7, living hard on the road until those health issues. I loved when he and Janne had their solo conversations on stage. I guess he's that example of the living fast, hard and die young... gosh I cant believe he's gone
Come to Brazil
I'm very picky about my metal (like a lot of people), and don't care for a lot of the attitudes that come with a lot if bands. Having said that, this man is a true giant, both onstage and off. When I heard of his passing, I felt the same way I did when heard Cliff Burton had died. He will be greatly missed.
Saw cob 17 times and I knew # 17 was my last show. Rip Alexi. So sad to think that you’re gone but so happy I have so many great memories of you and the band.
Only saw um once n they were one of my favorites ..............dont ask
My all time favorite COB concert moment: the joking around and riff-off that leads into Downfall on the Chaos Ridden Years DVD. Such a cool moment full of energy that makes me feel like I was there that night.
THIS LOOK AWESOME!!
RIP alexi. u were a legend
Very cooooooooool. Great Glam Metal fan he was.
it seems that someone really put something to his drink. No seriously for me he was the best guitar player ever. I will never forget...
Alexi is master of the metal world
Oh, you look cool though.
Just had the weirdest epiphany. Dude's up in heaven and God decides to put together a metal band (he's the producer) and Alexi Dimabag and Chuck Shuldiner show up. Who's the odd man out ?!! Then I remembered Randy Rhodes! Now who's the odd man out ?! Damn that's a tough one ! Lol !
Nice looking?
thank you for this nice video ??. I like it.
Rip
Now he's jamming with Jeff hannemann rest in peace brother u made lake bodom worth while to visit in finns

It really hard to overrate the influence of Alexi in my perception of Melodic Death Metal. He make it really Melodic. Rest in peace Wildchild.

Man I'm gonna cry :( RIP

Absolutely sensational guitarist he will long live in our memories.

2:44 -- This sounds terrible. The noise gate is a bit too much...It keeps cutting off the attack. I don't like it.

You will never be forgotten
Rest in Metal Wild Child 🖤🤘🏼
He was a great inspiration to me. Children of Bodom was the first band t-shirt I ever bought. Alexis was also a troubled man who suffered a lot from addiction and mental health issues. Please take care of each other.
Finnish police are way too politte
R.I.P
Does anyone know was this police thing real or fake?
Of corse fake
Met this legend a few times in the early 2000s. Been jamming his virtuosos to remember those days. Follow the Reaper Alexi, thanks for the music
Rest in Peace brother. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world. I know you've helped me through some dark times in life, and I'm sure others as well. We will never forget you.
Glad I got to see COB open for Megadeth a few years back. Alexi was a fantastic showmen. I'll never forget it.
Конечно момент когда его забирают копы-просто угар =)
Plot twist: the police officers actually arrested him because they thought he didn't play loud enough.
RIP. Hatecrew Deathroll is burned into my brain I played that album so much

Unico per sempre .R.I.P. ❤️alexi
I keep watching old COB videos and just feeling really sad. I was gutted when COB ended, happy when Bodom After Midnight started and currently pretty numb about Alexi's death. Children of Bodom always put on such a sick live show and I'm sure Bodom After Midnight would have been the same. Alexi was definitely an absolute machine on the guitar, and honestly i still think COB are so under appreciated.
hope you are in better place, playing Death Metal at Valhala...
Thank you for this. I spent years missing my fave band tours because I was too busy copping dope, and I'm so glad I got clean in time to see them in 2019. Alexi was MASSIVELY instrumental (heh, see what I did there?) in my introduction to the heavier side of metal in my teens, as well as a huge influence when I first started playing guitar and writing songs, and he has been an idol ever since. I never imagined I could feel the loss of someone I never met so immensely, but damn if I haven't shed some major tears over the past week. This hits me harder than Riley Gale from Power Trip. I will never be able to properly express the gratitude I have for this man sharing his art and a piece of his spirit with me. I know Alexi struggled with alcohol and claimed he had a handle on it, but as an addict myself I question that. Regardless, whatever his underlying condition was, I'm glad he's no longer in pain. Rest in fucking power, brother. Hail Alexi Laiho! 🤘
Didnt the cops know who he was?

Such a devastating loss to the metal community. I'm very glad I got to see Bodom as many times as I did. This is so sad. :(

Definitely not my bag in terms of vocal delivery, as I'm more of the 80s Dickinson/Halford mindset myself. However, very much up my street when it comes to the 6 string prowess. Taking stock, if a certain Steve Vai has great words to say on his behalf, I've only just scratched the surface with this vid. RIP is obviously more than we earned.
Shred in peace, Alexi...
Children of Boredom...They were awful !
That Vivaldi Storm guitar video had inspired me so much back when I was a teenager. RIP Alexi and thanks for your music 🤘❤️

Bro what was the name of that song at 1:00??
Bodom beach terror.
Gone way too soon :( Kind of disappointed that 100 guitars from Hel wasn't on this list. That was such a major achievement of his.
The sore transmission lally reproduce because space especially spray via a distinct ant. heartbreaking, difficult kite
the hell did i just read?
How about "the local band"?
What a loss. Great player. RIP, A L.
"Follow The Reaper" was the first record I ever bought with my own money sixteen years ago. My comment may sound a bit cheesy but this dude changed my life and helped me survive through my teenage years with his music. You'll be greatly missed, Alexi.
Same here. I was a very rebellious teenager under a ridiculously strict upbringing. Couldn't have survived my parents and school bullying without COB. It's like my childhood/teenage years died with Alexi.
I don´t it sound cheesy at all. We all have that album that hit the hardest as teens... Mine was Patera´s Vulgar Display of Power and soon after Korn. (I´m a bit older in years, I feel :)) They will stay with us forever. And they have helped me through some rough times as well.
