  • I have to say it was great to work with him. He was a lot of fun and didn't hold back if you asked him. He gave it all. A commercial I shot with him for the Nashville Predators ticket push produced by GS&F where I got checked by him for 9 takes. I loved the pounding he gave me... I asked for it. Here is the link: fiworld.info/goon/f6vFu4yrvneAmnA/videot.html Thanks Ray Zate for this doc... It's awesome!

  • Great dude. One of my favorite players. Brave guy for facing his demons, taking responsibility for them, fixing them and then making it back to the top level. Seems like a good family man. Tough on the ice, great to his young fans off of it. Also, he's built like a fire hydrant and has excellent balance. Still a lot of bias against shorter guys persists in the NHL. I see it against perennial AHL star Cory Conacher. But if you have the strength and the balance like Tootoo has, then you can have other things that can make up for the missing length--like quickness, athleticism, speed, stick-handling and most of all guts...He had those other things. He had an admirable career as a 4th-line scrapper, but I think he could've been a great defenseman or a nice second or third line winger with a more open-minded organization. I can see him getting in front of the net and causing huge problems for the opponent. He was fearless against big-ass defensemen as is. I mean hell, he sure beat down guys six to eight inches taller than he was without a problem And by the way, he was pushed from behind into Miller. Lay off the guy you homers.

  • I don't get how the Ryan Miller incident looks to anyone the way idiot Sabres announcers make it sound like. Physics and momentum are not their strong suits, eh? "He lost the puck!" Yeah, .1 seconds before the collision as he drove the net. You know, driving the net, like every one of these guys has been drilled since they were three-year-olds? I'm not a Tootoo or Nashville fan and love Ryan Miller, but come on now. He did nothing wrong.

  • This is a movie quality story. I saw him play for Milwaukee a few times. Fan favorite here. Someone please get this story into a movie script! I had no idea he lost his brother, had problems with alcohol, or that he was a lost wandering soul. This would make a great feel good movie no doubt.
